Antique Farm Equipment

Antique Farm Equipment

The Manning Hausbarn site is overflowing with history. From the authentic 1600’s German hausbarn to the Trinity Church from the 1800’s to the early 1900’s Leet/Hassler farmstead there are genuine connections to our fore bearers. Their focus on farming and the rural life have been preserved in this historic location.

The various buildings provide insight in to their living conditions of the time periods. In addition, antique farm machinery is on display to help understand the tools of the time and the efforts needed to farm to provide for their families. When you tour Manning Heritage Park you will learn about the history of the farm equipment, including how it was used for German farming. As you look at these pieces of equipment, can you imagine what they faced?

The antique farm equipment is for everyone as the display also demonstrates the ingenuity and creativity that took place by our ancestors.
